For all creatives, the ability to be self-reflective about our lives, our creative work & our needs is vital. But sometimes, having an outside perspective helps foment insightful awareness & sparks new ideas, and a companion on your journey can make all the difference.

Coaching

We offer two specialties in coaching women.
**Creativity coaching**: we specialize in coaching women creatives. Women who want to find the courage to write the book they’ve always dreamed of or to begin a regular painting practice. Whether you’re looking for accountability to stick with the projects you’ve already begun, help becoming brave enough to start a project, or just feeling curious about exploring types of creativity that would bring greater meaning to your life, we can help.
**Contemplative practice coaching**: we also specialize in helping women develop and cultivate contemplative practices & mindfulness techniques that bring greater presence & self-awareness. We can guide you in creating bespoke rituals for marking milestones & rites of passage within your life.

Editorial support & manuscript consultations

Editorial support is a one-time service for poets & writers needing guidance, feedback & developmental editing or manuscript consultations on existing work. We have several writers in our roster and will coordinate with you to pair you with the writer on our team best suited for your particular writing work and goals.

Support for grief & bereavement

We all experience periods of loss, grief & bereavement. We all have seasons of light & seasons of darkness. Significant research shows that writing, art-making & other creative processes help us heal from grief. Working one-on-one with a grief specialist can help you navigate the messiness & confusion of grief. Grief can be a very lonely season, but we will companion you in your season of grief.
Please note: Our grief support is with a certified Grief & Bereavement Specialist, but this support does not constitute professional therapy and is best used in conjunction with traditional therapy.

Space for your own creative work

Creativity takes dedicated time & space to focus. Sometimes it’s hard to find that in our own homes, and creativity is invigorated by having intentional time in an inspiring and demand-free place. And sometimes, what we need is simply a quiet space to think, to reflect, to rest.
In-between our own active programming, we offer our studio space to individual writers, artists & makers who need the gift of space and time.
Our 1200-foot studio includes a kitchen for preparing your own meals, or home-cooked meals can be made by us and delivered to you, allowing you more time to create.
Our space is available by the day, or your creative time can become a residency and include overnight stays.

Residencies

Make your time at Parcel North Studio a residency by staying with us for an overnight, a weekend, or a full week. Choose from one of our two bedrooms available within the studio space.
Residency availability varies depending on demand.
